Smudging Prayer
I invite the highest spirits, my guides and my angels, to join me in the cleansing of my home and of my entire being
I am releasing any and all thoughts, energies, attachments, and emotions that are no longer in service to my greatest good. I release them across this universe, and all others. I release them across this lifetime, and all others
May I vibrate in alignment with all of the energies of the earth, and that of my soul’s mission
May this home become a place of radiant happiness, health, kindness, and creativity
May all those who enter be blessed with eternal peace, harmony, and love
I bathe myself in gratitude and appreciation for my loved ones, my guides, my angels, my fellow beings, and for the entire Universe which is constantly working on my behalf
With this cleansing, may I shine with Divine Light and share it with all whom I interact with
Thank you, Universe, for the light and love that surround me and keep me safe!
And So It Is!

Basic smudges/wands made of white or blue sage are excellent for clearing out old, stagnant, negative energy and making room for new, positive energy in any space that you use. Smudging monthly, or after having a large gathering of people in your space, helps maintain a sense of tranquility and peace within your space.
For more individualized cleansing, you can use sage smudges/wands that have various herbs added for a more customized cleanse. Jasmine, Rosemary, Palo Santo, White Copal, Sandalwood, and more are often added to enhance the wand’s properties. We offer a wide selection of sage smudges/wands in our online store.
If you cleanse on a monthly basis, you may want to consider making your own sage smudges/wands. It is not only easy, but it is fun, too! We offer sage leaves in 1 pound bags, as well as some woods and resins that you can add yourself, for a more personal experience.

*Face each direction, in the order listed, as you recite the following. For Mother Earth, point your hands (palms down) toward the ground. For Father Sun, point you hands (palms up) towards the sky

To the winds of the South!
Great Serpent,
Wrap your coils of light around us.
Teach us to shed the past the way you shed your skin; to walk softly on the Earth.
Teach us the Beauty Way!

To the winds of the West!
Mother Jaguar, protect our sacred medicine space.
Teach us the way of peace; to live impeccably.
Show us the way beyond Death!

To the winds of the North!
Hummingbird, Grandmothers and Grandfathers, all the Ancient Ones.
Come and warm your hands by our fires!
Whisper to us in the wind.
We honor all of you who have come before us,
and those who will come after us; our children’s children. Those to whom one day we will be Ancestors.
———————————————————————————
To the winds of the East!
Great Eagle and Condor,
come to us from the place of the rising Sun.
Keep us under your wing.
Show us the mountains we only dare to dream of!
Teach us to fly wing to wing with the Great Spirit.
———————————————————————————
Mother Earth, we have gathered for the healing of all of your children!
The Stone People, the Plant People,
The four-legged, the two-legged, and the creepy crawlers.
The finned, the furred, and the winged ones.
All our relation!

Father Sun, Grandmother Moon, and the Star Nations!
Great Spirit, you who are known by a thousand names, and you who are the unnamable One…
Thank you for bringing us together in this place
and allowing us to sing your Song of Life!

Prayer for the Blessing of Kuan Yin
I call upon Kuan Yin, Goddess of Compassion and Mercy, to bless me. I ask that you bless my life path. Guide me as I go through this life, helping me fall into the perfect timing and rhythm of life. Help me fall into perfect trust of this process.
All I need in this life is brought to me exactly when I need it. All I need to do in order to achieve this is to take one step at a time, falling into perfect trust, and live from my heart.
I ask that you help me remain in confidence and trust, so that I may do this. I ask that you watch over my life path, intervening and guiding me according to Divine Grace.
I receive your blessings with humble gratitude and say Thank You! for every blessing I receive. Unto my own free will, so it shall be!
———————————————————————————
Kuan Yin is the Eastern Goddess of Mercy and Compassion. She also regarded as The Mother of The World. In Western culture, we would see her represented as The Mother Mary.
The legend tells that Kuan Yin was once a mortal Buddhist nun (Miao-Shan) who desired to serve all of humankind through compassion and self-sacrifice. Through her acts of mercy and desire to serve all of humanity, she ascended into the heavens and attained immortality, becoming Kuan Yin “she who observes and hears all the cries of the world”.
It has been told for centuries that Kuan Yin often takes the form of various unassuming characters here on earth, so that she may appear to, an aide, those in need.
Have you ever randomly crossed paths with someone in your darkest, lowest moments that seemed to know exactly what you needed to hear in order to keep going? If so, you may very well have been visited by Kuan Yin.
Including Kuan Yin in your spiritual practice invites The Goddess of Mercy and Compassion to not only hear and answer your prayers, but to work through you as a way of spreading her message here on earth.
New Moon Prayer

I gratefully, and humbly, accept all that you offer. I thank you for your divine wisdom and unyielding love.
And So It Is!

New Moons are a great time to set intentions and focus on upcoming growth; be it spiritual or personal. Writing out your desired intentions, and then focusing on encompassing them into your everyday life as each day sees the moon grow to it’s peak puts the power of manifesting in your mind…and your mind is a very powerful magnet. Just as the moon’s phases affect the ocean’s tides, your mind has the power to ripple through Universal energy and create the changes that you want to make in your life. Harness the power of each New Moon to guide you toward the life you truly desire to live.
Imbolc: A Time To Celebrate!
Imbolc is the halfway point between the Fall Equinox and the Spring Equinox. It signals that Winter will not last forever, and Spring will come as promised. Obviously, this is a time for celebration!
While the Mother lays passive in her Winter slumber, Imbolc is the day in which we celebrate the promise of rebirth and renewal that is soon to come our way. You don’t have to be Pagan to celebrate the cycle of life, death, and rebirth that is the way of the seasons and all life on earth.
A few ways in which Imbolc can be celebrated are:
-Go for walk in nature and note the way the natural world around you looks, feels, smells, and sounds at this midway point between seasons. You can always appreciate what is present, even when looking forward to what is to come
-Prepare a simple “feast” from winter’s bounty. Use as many winter vegetables and fruits as possible. Kale, carrots, parsnips, brussel sprouts, radishes, winter squash, cauliflower, broccoli, spinach, and collard greens are all winter vegetables. Clementines, tangerines, kumquats, lemons, pomelos, kiwis, pears, and persimmons are all considered winter fruits. Don’t forget to include your favorite nuts! Nuts and seeds were considered staples of a winter diet before the luxury of grocery stores and such
-Build a bonfire. Imbolc (St. Brigid’s Day) is traditionally known as a fire festival. A bonfire is great way to keep warm, as well as good for throwing your list of intentions onto and letting the fire burn away any obstacles that would stand between you and what you desire
Om Mani Padme Hum
Chanting Om has become synonymous with meditation and seeking enlightenment. However, did you know that Om is only one part of a six syllable mantra that is translated in English as “Praise to the Jewel in Lotus” or “The Jewel Within The Lotus”.
Within those six syllables, all the teachings of the Buddha are contained. Each syllable represents the six goals of Buddhist existence and the purification that takes place when each syllable is chanted. Broken down, they are as follows:
OM- Generally accepted as the vibration/sound of The Universe. This syllable purifies The Ego
MA- This syllable purifies our vessel of jealousy. It represents the ethics by which we live our lives
NI- This syllable purifies our vessel of earthly wants and desires. It represents patience
PAD- This syllable purifies our vessel of judgements and the ignorance incurred from judgements. It represents the diligence required to continually check in with ourselves about our pre-conceived judgements about what is and what is not
MI- This syllable purifies our vessel of our attachments to people, places, and things, as well as ideas that we have formed through those attachments. It represents concentration on the here, the now, and the emptiness we are looking to achieve on the way to Enlightenment
HUM- This syllable purifies our vessel of hatred. It is the syllable that represents the unity of all that is, and divine wisdom
